Children and young people aged 5 to 19
The 5 to 19 offer is provided by the School Nursing Team who are there to support you as your child starts school.
Just prior, or at school entry, we will ask you to complete a short health questionnaire to help us direct our support to those parents who need it.
If your child has a complex health need, we can support them to move into a school setting safely so you feel confident that their needs are being managed effectively and in a way you feel comfortable with.
To contact us for any help or support, the school nurses and health visitors have a daily duty service to take your calls and manage your queries. Our services are based in the Family Hubs in Blackburn and Darwen.
